How much should it be for an electrician to change a light switch and plug sockets?
I needed to have a dimmer switch replaced, 2 plug sockets and one light switch, all straight forward, just basically changing over the old ones. I was charged £50.00 is this about right, thanks

Tools for starter swap for 1988 Chevy Silverado?
Ok I am at work and my Vehicle is stuck at a gas station right now. I am pretty sure it is my starter, most likely the solenoid. but due to time and budget constraints, I am forced to do this fix right where it sits.
What I need to know is what tools will I need to swap the starters. I figure a good set of SAE wrenches and/or sockets and possibly a multi bit driver. Other than that is there anything else I might need that I am not aware of?

the solus is a pice of junk the modis has capability of a dmm global obd lab scope and ignition scope by far the better scan tool. you get what you pay for. i believe the solus doesnt have a scope function and has limtied obd pids but over both of them i like the otc genysis better but its all preference.. the modis is a nicer all around tool than the solus

Just partially rebiult my 1.5 liter honda civic , engine appears to have a miss fire engine is looping or missing @ idle and was stalling while comming to a stop after driving. {@ a red light}. I know the battery is def not holding a charge. Can a drain auger clear a clog in a main sewer line?
I have a pretty solid clog in my main sewer line. If I flush the toilet, it comes out of the drain in the garage floor. Likewise with every other drain in the house. I have dumped bleach and (later) enzymes down my drains, but don't hold much hope that they will work. A friend has a nifty drain auger called a Ridgid auto-spin that has a cable only 1/4" and is designed for drain pipes up to 1 1/2".
