I find it comical as a professional mechanic and someone who owns a luxury car complains about cost of parts. For example, when someone is looking to replace their Mercedes Benz S500 Front License Plate Bracket, they had better be expecting to pay upwards of 50, even 60 some odd dollars for the replacement bracket. While it is an awfully beautiful car, that is unfortunately the price you pay to drive in luxury and to cruise in style. But, it’s worth every penny.

I have got to admit that receiving a book entitled Classic Mercedes-Benz The Three-Pointed Star was a little bit odd. It was certainly a surprise, and for a birthday present I suppose that is the whole point, right? but, my nephew who bought it for me certainly knew me better than I knew myself. Come to find out, I have not been able to put this book down since the moment I picked it up. I did not realize that I was such a fan of classic cars. And let me tell you, it is easily the best birthday present I have received in quite some time.
