You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the miles per gallon figures for your car. Fill your tank and then set your odometer to zero. After you have driven around for a few days or whenever you are almost out of gas, go to refill your car. First take a note of the odometer reading and then take a note of how many gallons you now put in your tank. Divide the miles traveled by the number of gallons and there is your mpg information. Check that with figures listed by the manufacturer or on web sites which list gas mileage vehicle comparisons. How did you compare? You must drive sensibly and keep your car well maintained. The issue of gas mileage vehicle comparisons may be an eye-opener.
