Did you know that if your not shopping for cheap auto insurance your are probably paying far to much for vehicle insurance. Most people stay with the same vehicle insurance agent, year after year, because, “that’s who my Dad used”, or “I like the Agent”, or “there a big company and I like there adds”, (who have paid out a ton of money with the horrible weather recently and also raised your rates}.

Did you know that vehicle insurance policies are monitored by the Division of Insurance, a government agency? So big, small, expensive, cheap, they each have to answer to them to be in business?

Last year, I decided to shop my vehicle insurance when my quote went up 50% and coincidentally so did my roommate’s. I was shocked! I had the same vehicle insurance premium, vehicle insurance agent and big company for years, and had no reason to check out different rates; I just wrote the check, because vehicle insurance is a must in my state to get your car’s license renewed.

When I received that gigantic price increase, I called and was informed what I just told you, “everybody’s premiums went up because of the floods and hurricanes”. Well, mine didn’t, because I decided to shop around and WOW I saved a bundle with a reputable company. I then went back to where I had received my discount auto insurance and got an equally great deal my roommate!

Between us, we saved over $2,000 in the past year because we hunted for the cheapest auto insurance. We had saved enough money to go on the least expensive 3-day cruise to the Bahamas we could find and moved to a larger space!

Now, you might want to use that extra money for something else, but we had the cruise to remember for a lifetime and got a more spacious place to live, just because we found the cheapest auto insurance we could find. Sure, we could’ve just wrote the check and said, “thats life” like most other people, but this was striking it rich.

We would have spent that found money on our vehicle insurance premium, paid way more than we had to and keep struggling to pay the rent payment, but instead we chose to go after the cheapest auto insurance we could find.

Now, I know you wondering, well, if they are regulated, how come the big company didn’t give a discount auto insurance. Well, they are regulated, but vehicle insurance companies are a business like everything else, and if they have massive losses or claims, they can pass that on to the consumer.

You just have to shop for the cheapest auto insurance you can find. Now, I know you feel loyalty for that nice guy, who was your families vehicle insurance agent, which is great as long as he will send you and your friend on a cruise and move you into a bigger apartment.

If you want to save a bundle of cash, go on a cruise or have a roomier place to live, or pay your bills and eat well, then save where you can, and it’s easy if you get the cheap auto insurance.
